Writing as Therapy

Writing has long been known to be an important and highly valued expression of the self. In mental health therapy, writing is often encouraged to help the patient transform pain, transcend trauma, and heal the soul. In this session, the presenter will discuss the various uses of writing to promote wellness in the lives of the audience members.
