The Joys of Self-publishing

I'm willing to host/present a session if people are interested.
Self-publishing is one route to success. Would discuss a bit about the "how-to" and related options, but most focus would be on the "why" and "so what?" elements. Options, finances, business model, promotion and sales. The bottom line: You don't have to get a publishing contract with Random House to be successful and happy as a writer.
